Venda 4x4 Legend Rain Forest Tour
The Hi Adventure Eco-Tour - Venda Legend Area Tour is a guided tour, and you require your own 4x4 vehicle. There are Rental vehicles available for hire, (with a fleet of 300 rentals vehicles available), please contact us for more information. Petrol Budget: The Venda Legend Area Tour will cover a distance of 300 to 350 km’s from the meeting point at Camp Africa to the destination point (this excludes travel to Camp Africa and your return trip home). Maps of the tour are supplied to clients once booking and payment are made.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Hi Adventure Eco Tour Operators and Adventurers to meet for dinner at Camp Africa (directions will be supplied with bookings).
Day 2 After breakfast, the entire tour group will depart to the Schoemansdal Open Museum to view a piece of real African heritage and enjoy some leisure time to soak up the country atmosphere. Then a 4x4 route up the Soutspanberg will be followed, which includes a walk on the famous “Angel Steps” path to the “Wims” outlook post and other interesting areas and outlook posts along the way. Late afternoon the tour group returns for a leisurely dinner around a camp fire with stunning African bush sunsets as a backdrop at Camp Africa.

Day 3 Early morning breakfast is served and lunch preparations shared before departing to Vendaland. A visit to the “Holy Forest” and some spectacular waterfalls are part of the journey before reaching the Fundudzi Lake, where the tranquil beauty and gorgeous fauna and flora will breathlessly inspire even the most experienced adventurer. Low range 4x4 gear switching is usually necessary across this untamed landscape and all part of the fun... however, your experienced tour operators are always on hand and more than happy to guide you while enjoying your very own thrilling 4x4 experience. Then we return to Camp Africa to discuss the days events, share stories and enjoy dinner around a blazing camp fire adding to the days excitement.

Day 4 After breakfast and lunch preparations the tour group will embark on their day’s drive through the Roodewal Plantation to Entabeni for a visit to “Redwoods” and Botha ‘s Pass while stopping along the route to enjoy breathtaking views at outlook posts over the Levubu and Venda areas before returning back to the “Urban Jungle”.

Cost includes all meals for the duration of the trip (each morning individuals will receive something to make for lunch).
NB: Everyone must please bring there own beverages. NB: If you have a special diet or requirements, food intolerance’s or allergies, please discuss prior to booking.
You Will Need: 4x4 Vehicle, Camping equipment and your own beverages. If it is a cross border 4x4 tour then you will also need: passports for all in your party, ID documents, drivers license, insurance consent letter, bank consent letter, third party insurance (for most countries), and if needed - malaria tablets. Please also consult with your General Practitioner and advise them of the country you will be visiting, and follow the necessary malaria precautions and take all necessary medications. Please note that each country has different malaria precautions, some require you have the injections and others that you take the tablets etc.

AGENDA
Dag 1 Ons kom bymekaar vir aandete by Camp Africa (Volle aanwysings sal verkry word met besprekings).
Dag 2 Ons vertrek na ontbyt om die Schoemansdal Ope Museum te besoek, ry n 4x4 roete teen die Soutpansberg uit, stap die Engel trappe na Wim se uitkyk en vele meer. Dan keer ons terug na Camp Africa vir aandete en om n bietjie te ontspan om die kampvuur.
Dag 3 Direk na ontbyt gaan ons Vendaland binne en besoek die Heilige Woud, n paar watervalle en die Fundudzi Meer. Die gebied is baie mooi en interesant. Dit sal dalk nodig wees om so nou en dan “low range” te gebruik. Dan keer ons weer terug na die kamp om te ontspan en te gesels terwyl ons aandete nuttig.
Dag 4 Ons ry deur Roodewal Plantasie na Entabeni. Besoek die Rooiwoude, Botha se pas en n paar asemrowende uitkyk punte oor die Levubu en Venda areas voor ons terug keer na die “Concrete Jungle”.
